non/fiction

as i sent achebe’s no longer at ease and safran foer’s two fiction offerings back into the library chute, i came to terms with the fact that despite our situation in the social media era, fiction and non are two very different beasts. that’s not to say that there isn’t an overlap ( i mean, palahniuk and mukherjee do it so well), but there are specific forms that are exclusive to each. mastering one does not necessarily translate to being able to the other even a little bit well. shoutout to my spicy pepperette for making me think that my creative work is proetry or pose…that middle ground…that’s me.
