#81-bridlewood-september 24, 2012

i have mixed feelings about housing libraries in malls, but i suppose i should just get over it-considering the beauty-full libraries that have emerged in reclaimed retail spaces. but i guess if there’s any consumption that we might encourage from the womb, reading is it. the day was gorgeous, the trip wasn’t as far as i envisioned, and the branch itself blew me away with its modern decor in wood and black, strangely juxtaposed in the kind of mall that time appears to have forgotten. after my usual binge in dvds, i had some congee and prawns to fuel me for the engagement party that i was returning to toronto for. i consider it my first date with shaq, as i was reading his autobiography at the time.
