“biting in the dark, i might break your heart”
so, this band, fronted by the fine fine, was first brought to my attention by sistamama and her gun, and has been on my radar for a hot minute. when nadia publicly co-signed, i knew it was time. i found kiesza because of her joey bada$$ feature (and strange birks ad) and her sound, as well as hiatus kaiyote is what i have decided the futurepresent sounds like to me, and i’m down.
i love that in my life-music has cycled back to orbit around me through the words of many mouths that i am privileged to know, but are otherwise unrelated.
that spirit is pretty hip hop, and the connection will ever be soul.
